Little SproutsThe Children’s Market will be a special area and program within the Ellisville Community Farmer’s Market venue. The theme of the Children’s Market Third season is “Raising Healthy Kids from Seed to Table.” From 4-7:30 p.m. every Thursday through September the Children’s Market will be a space for kid’s to hang out and participate in hands-on, kid friendly activities. The kid’s really enjoy weekly guided tours through the Ellisville Farmers Community Market to meet the farmers that actually grow and raise the food.
The focus of the market is on homegrown produce, homemade and handmade food products and artisan crafts, as well as some locally branded food products. We are a market that supports seasonal, locally grown food and the education of the community about local and sustainable foods and farming. Vendor's are not allowed to resell and/or repackage produce and food that they have not produced themselves (some exceptions may apply).
